Tomato Filets Pizza Sauce

This pizza sauce is made with whole tomatoes,
(whole tomatoes have fewer or no additives than chopped or pureed)
EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil,
sweet oregano, a touch of basil,
sea salt, and black pepper.
1 lb of sauce covers well a 16-inch pizza.
Note on spreading the sauce: spoon a little more and spread the toppings on the edges (go lighter on the center) as the edges heat up and cook first.
Some of the sauce will naturally go to the center as the pizza cooks.
This way, the sauce will not pool in the center,
resulting in a fully cooked crust
that is more flavorful and easier to digest.
